Purpose
If you want to learn how to get certified as a yoga teacher, you're in the right place! There are two paths for becoming a yoga teacher. The 200 hour yoga teacher training is our foundation level teacher training. You can start as a 200 hour teacher. Another option is to take the 500 hour advanced yoga teacher training. This includes everything you learn in the 200 hour but also has the advanced 300 hour training. Some people start with the 200 hour, and eventually take the 300 hour to become 500 hour teachers, and other people prefer to start with the 500 hour ytt track. All you need to be a certified yoga teacher is the 200 hour. Once you complete your 200 or 500 hour yoga teacher training, you may want to take other specialty certifications, such as Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training or Childrens Yoga Teacher Training. We also have a full library of continuing yoga education to support you if you want to learn more about a specific area of yoga practice.
